From now on, SMARTCRM supports sales back office and field force at Krug + Priester. We are looking forward to a new customer using Infor ERP. The company, located in Balingen, Germany, has been manufacturing shredders, paper cutters and air cleaner for more than 60 years on the brink of the Swabian Alb.
Till the CRM introduction, sales employees used to maintain their own customer and prospective customer databases and visit reports in locally stored Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. The sales field force, working from home, had no direct access to the ERP system as well as to the information captured in it. With SMARTCRM, this belongs to the past. In the decision-making process, we scored with our Infor interface and the necessary expertise as well as competent support through sales and project management. The pre-configured ERP interface was set up quickly and conveniently. SMARTCRM imports customers, products, invoice items, order backlog and open items over the interface. BI functionalities enable the extensive analysis of the figures at different levels, for instance, at customer level, with just a click. In addition, the field force has offline access to all central bundled CRM information and analyses whether on the go or working from home – and therefore knows which product a customer purchases, how turnovers develop or which agreement a customer has met with a colleague.
Support for field service will also come from the scheduled CRM functionality, route planning. Thus, the employees can select in SMARTCRM specialist dealers located within a given radius and visualize them in Bing Maps. There, the planning of the best route and the definition of a visit appointment in SMARTCRM.Organizer can be done.
The connection of the marketing department to SMARTCRM is planned in a second step. Indeed, in the implementation of their marketing campaigns, the marketing staff of Krug + Priester will sustainably benefit from our CRM system and its allocation of features, extensive selection options and standard interface to the email marketing tool Inxmail. Here, the CRM solution fulfills all requirements for privacy compliant marketing that have arisen in the framework of the General Data Protection Regulation.
