A new version, many new functions

In April, SMARTCRM 18.2 will be launched

Our new SMARTCRM version 18.2 is available in April – and with it, many new functions for company-wide processes. Take advantage of the numerous novelties concerning the privacy-compliant processing of personal data. Save time and costs with the quick entry of your contacts and use the new functions of the SMARTCRM.App when on the go.

Today, the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is on everyone’s lips. After a transitional period of two years, the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will replace the Data Protection Directive and become enforceable from 25 May 2018. In conjunction to the GDPR, companies have extended documentation and information obligations. With the new SMARTCRM version, you can document relevant information and create the technical framework for a privacy compliant use of your personal data.

As a sales representative, you can look forward to the new possibility of quick entry of contacts in the CRM system. Whether at the office over Microsoft Outlook or on the roads with the app: with our CRM system, you must certainly not tip your contacts per hand in the CRM system but import them with a click in no time.

If you would like to arrange an appointment, SMARTCRM provides you with the convenient sending of appointment invitations. You can keep an eye in the CRM system on who has committed to the appointment and who has cancelled it.

When managing your CRM data, is there any information that must be stored in SMARTCRM? Then you have already defined mandatory fields. Make most of the version 18.2 where a new mandatory fields overviews allows you to conveniently complete the missing data.

If your field service staff relies on our SMARTCRM.App, then you can look forward to a variety of new features: after a customer appointment, they have time for another visit and would like to know who is located nearby. Thus, they can make full use of the area search. In addition, the information concerning the GDPR – such as purpose and origin of the personal data – is obviously available to you via the mobile app
