Erwin Halder KG introduced the CRM system with the goal to be able to evaluate its business figures at any time at the press of a button and thus to always have on hand a sound basis for decisions. An important criterion for the CRM software selection was the provision of a preconfigured standard interface to abas Business Software. This allows a central database as well as the evaluation of the data from the ERP system in SMARTCRM. Thus, the monitoring of quotations has been significantly improved and substantially more user-friendly. As well as in other sales areas, we also reach a higher productivity and faster processes with SMARTCRM.” Halder handles and monitors about 800 quotations a month. These are imported in the CRM system and archived by the corresponding address. At the press of a button, the items can be visualized directly in the ERP system. SMARTCRM automatically sends follow-up tasks. The preparation of the employees for a customer visit was also optimized. The CRM system provides all information centrally in the electronic customer file. This way, the employees do not need to gather the data from various sources and are able to act in a targeted manner when visiting their customers. Customer inquiries over the phone can be processed with SMARTCRM during the call if necessary since the CRM system provides a complete activity history of the customer, its statistics and an overview of all products purchased by him.

The former time-consuming preparation of the figures in Microsoft Excel belongs to the past. In SMARTCRM, numerous daily analyses are available at the press of a button. This way, the employees recognize early on by which customer the sales are decreasing or by which customer and how often, which product is ordered. For the management of Halder, the most important evaluations are transferred automatically at night to Microsoft Excel. This way, the management has all the important figures at a glance in the morning. They immediately know how for instance turnovers or product sales are developing and can plan accordingly short-term as well as long-term.

Halder plans to let all field employees as well as all sales representatives work with SMARTCRM. Thanks to the offline capability of the CRM system and the mobile data access via smartphones, iPhones and iPads, each employee has all necessary information available even when away from the office. The topic SRM also plays an important role at Halder, as the company thinks about using SMARTCRM in the purchase department as well. Suppliers’ data and quotation requests can be managed in a user-friendly way and evaluated on a daily-basis in SMARTCRM.
