Since 2010, 50 employees of Steinfels Swiss, division of Coop, have been working with SMARTCRM in the sales, service and marketing departments. An important goal of the introduction was the connection of the field employees. Before, they were kept informed per e-mail, today they can independently see all data in SMARTCRM also on their notebooks when away from the office. Steinfels Swiss used to evaluate the sales figures in Microsoft Excel before the CRM implementation and to send the spreadsheets to the field service staff. This step was dropped with SMARTCRM: using an interface, product data as well as sales figures from the ERP software Microsoft Dynamics AX are imported. This way, the CRM system allows Steinfels Swiss a daily overview of all their sales figures on different levels.

The wish of an optimal machine and device management is fulfilled by SMARTCRM. The company can indeed maintain all information in the CRM, even concerning the fillers of each device. The dosing settings history is likewise available for each device. Jordanis Katsakis, sales manager at Steinfels Swiss, sees it as a huge advantage: “ The acceptance for SMARTCRM is really high amongst the employees. They see the advantages the CRM system offers to their daily work life, for instance to maintain our machines and device data. Their management in SMARTCRM is for us a great and important improvement. “

Besides providing a wealth of information, SMARTCRM also supports the field service employees in planning their visits: this way they are automatically reminded of the appointment agreements in the defined rhythm. In addition, they can display visit statistics for a given time period.

The field staff writes about 50 offers a month. These are directly created in SMARTCRM. To this purpose, the company has stored templates with their own corporate design in the CRM system. SMARTCRM automatically fills in the Microsoft Word document with the recipient’s data as well as the corresponding prices. Individual discounts to be applied are taken into consideration in the total. Likewise, SMARTCRM fills in product text modules. Since they can be stored in different languages, it is easy for Steinfels Swiss to write the quotation in English, German, French or Italian. The quotation is archived in the electronic customer file, so that a complete tracking is possible at any time. All project processes, and therefore all quotations, are displayed on their own tab in SMARTCRM and can easily be tracked. The employees can switch to the linked address, activity or machine file and thus stay fully informed.
