Our SMARTCRM annual review 2021

And here we go again: this is the time for our annual review. We had a look back over the past few months and look forward to new colleagues, new SMARTCRM functionalities, many successful webinars as well as consolidated partnerships.

  • Updates, updates, updates

    Our customers certainly remained up-to-date in 2021 thanks to numerous updates to new SMARTCRM versions. Our established customers sales and project management also supported our customers with current IT developments.

  • Consolidation of the partnership with Inxmail

    In times like these, when the topic of “online” is more important than ever, the topic of email marketing is also becoming increasingly important. For this reason, we have intensified our partnership with Inxmail GmbH. In November, we held a joint webinar to show you how to use SMARTCRM and Inxmail Professional to find the right target group, minimize coverage loss and send personalized newsletters that comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

  • Always up-to-date

    This summer we launched our SMARTCRM.Infocenter. Using this, we have been offering our customers regular news concerning SMARTCRM. We introduce projects our developer colleagues are currently working on and inform about upcoming webinar dates. Under the section “Would you have known it?”, our customers learn about existing SMARTCRM functions and receive helpful tips and tricks on how to optimize working with our CRM system.

    In addition, we have expanded our social media activities. News about our CRM solution, information and dates can now also be found on our Xing and LinkedIn channels.

  • 22 webinars for customers and prospective customers

    This year again, we regularly took our prospective customers on a tour of our CRM system in a free webinar. In this year’s webinars, we introduced SMARTCRM users to the new version21.1, informed them about optimal project management with SMARTCRM and showed them SMART Board tips and tricks live. Many exciting webinars are also planned in 2022.

  • We are happy about new faces and celebrate our “old hands”

    A new employee and a trainee have found their way to our company in 2021. We are also pleased that three colleagues have become permanent members of our development team after successfully completing their training or studies.

    And another highlight: three colleagues celebrated their 10th anniversary at SMARTCRM this year. Congratulations!

  • Working from home year 2
    As in the year before, we have been working a lot from home. Although, the first colleagues returned to the offices in Kandel in summer, most of the meetings currently take place within our own four walls. Appropriate hardware, video conferencing tools and, of course, our own CRM system make working remotely much easier, but we miss direct exchanges. This is why our internal information events over the summer also took place “hybrid”, in Kandel and online at the same time.

  • Our social responsibility

    … is something we take very seriously. For this reason, we have also decided to provide financial support to various projects in 2021, such as the Hänsel & Gretel child protection association, the police publisher’s traffic coloring book, the European Gymnasium in Wörth, Germany, The Austrian association Debra Austria and the Petite Suisse children’s aid organization in Switzerland.

  • We continue to focus on sustainability

    We have further strengthened our commitment to sustainability, including e-mobility. For instance, all new purchases for our fleet are electric or hybrid vehicles. We have also introduced digital billing. Fortunately, many of our customers have already switched to paperless shipping. And we are pleased that our lunchtime caterer is also increasingly focusing on sustainability and climate neutrality.
