As a CRM specialist for the D/A/CH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland), we are looking forward to working with a new customer from Switzerland. From now on, SMARTCRM indeed supports the sales processes of the TAM AG.
The wholesaler located in Laupen, Switzerland, has marketed power tools for over 40 years throughout the country. The sales of the equipment for timber and forestry as well as garden technology takes place exclusively though specialist dealers. The company ensures prompt and professional maintenance of the machines with fast available spare parts.
Next to the integration of Microsoft Outlook, SMARTCRM scores with the interface to the ERP system SAP Business One. Thus, the CRM solution takes over the ERP data such as addresses, orders and other figures, connects it to the appropriate customer information and evaluates it on different levels as for example per customer or per product. Before the CRM implementation, TAM AG used to manage sales revenues, open items, etc. in complex Excel spreadsheets. Today all current figures are directly accessible on the screen in the CRM system. The extensive right management in SMARTCRM ensures that only the relevant data are available for each employee.
Moreover, the company used Microsoft Excel for planning. From now on, TAM will carry the planning out at the monthly level in an easy and time saving way in SMARTCRM. If the actual figures deviate from the planning, the CRM system points it out early on using daily actual/target comparisons. Thereupon, plan adjustments are possible at any time.
A further goal of the CRM implementation is to improve the field service connection. With SMARTCRM, they are now fully informed: on their notebooks, they can access to all CRM data on the go – even offline, when no Internet is available. Moreover, SMARTCRM.App provides online access to all CRM data required for successful sales work on smartphones. After a customer visit, the sales representatives can directly record the visit report in the CRM system via their mobile devices.
Additionally, SMARTCRM supports the planning of the next visits: the area search helps the employees to find the appropriate nearby customers for a tour. The addresses are then transferred to Bing Maps. There, the employees can plan the optimal routes and create appointments or route in SMARTCRM with just a click.
