SMARTCRM at the manufacturer of children‘s vehicles

From now on, PUKY relies in sales and marketing on the CRM solution SMARTCRM. The company, with headquarters in Wülfrath, Germany, has been producing children’s vehicles since 1941. Today, the model range includes children’s bikes, learner’s bikes, scooters, go-karts, tricycles as well as accessories.

In the selecting process, SMARTCRM was chosen since the system with its Exchange connection as well as the standard interface to the ERP solution proALPHA can easily be integrated to the existing IT environment. In addition, since the CRM manufacturer is a medium-sized company itself, SMARTCRM’s knowledge of the requirements of SMEs and its communication at eye level were key in the decision.

An important goal of the CRM implementation is the improved communication between field service and back office as well as the optimized access of the field staff to customer-related information. Thus SMARTCRM should facilitate the visit preparation and follow-up in the future and make all relevant data centrally available to the employees. This is guaranteed, among others, by the CRM solution thanks to the interface to proALPHA, which imports ERP data such as quotations, including items, as well as figures, for instance, sales revenues, incoming orders, etc. In this way, the field staff always keeps an eye on open quotations, orders and important evaluations, for example on sales development of a customer or sold products. A comprehensive visit preparation is possible at a glance in the customer file and the complete activity history. SMARTCRM provides the field service employees with the information online via an  App or the web browser as well as offline via notebooks.

The sales team can also plan and document its tours in the CRM system. All customer addresses can be assigned to specific tours and visualized in Bing Maps. The optimal routes can be planned on the map and appointments automatically created in the SMARTCRM schedule.

After the visit, the employees of PUKY record their expenses and their visit reports directly in the CRM solution. Templates with defined questions ensure consistent reporting and convenient data capture. Information related to the specialist stores visited and how they present PUKY products compared to the competition, can also be documented.
