Speck Pumpen Walter Speck GmbH & Co. KG has decided to implement our CRM solution. In a near future, the sales employees are going to be supported by SMARTCRM in their daily business.
The family-owned company, with its headquarters in Roth, Germany, produces pumps and compressors primarily for the medical technology, the plastic industry, the chemical and pharmaceutical industries as well as for cooling and tempering appliances. Founded as a manufacturer of piston pumps in 1909 in Nuremberg, today, the Speck group employs more than 560 staff members worldwide.
To gain an optimized overview on new and ongoing customer inquiries, Speck Pumpen has decided to introduce a CRM system. During the CRM decision process, we scored with more than twenty years of interface experience with abas ERP, the ERP system in use at Speck Pumpen. As a cooperation partner of the abas Software AG, we offer a standard interface that is easily and quickly configured and can be adapted to the individual needs of the company. In the near future, SMARTCRM will import customers, prospective customers, contacts, quotations as well as order backlog items, turnover invoice items and open items over the EDP interface. SMARTCRM will evaluate the figure material at different levels allowing employees to instantly call up needed analyses on their screens. The CRM system will also provide the forecasts that are particularly important for the mechanical engineering company.
Project management is one of the priorities of the CRM use at Speck Pumpen. In the future, all information on a project from start to finish will be documented in SMARTCRM, therefore guaranteeing a complete project history. In each project file, both the request and the complete further communication with the customer are stored. Moreover, the project volume and its probability can be seen immediately. The sales employee in charge can create an offer in abas ERP directly out of SMARTCRM over a button. After its creation, the offer as well as subsequent variants of the offer will be imported to the CRM system via the interface and each stored as a separate process in the project file. Follow-ups in SMARTCRM guarantee that every offer is covered. If an order is placed, it is automatically archived via the interface in the SMARTCRM project file after being created in abas ERP.
On the start screen of the CRM solution, the responsible employees will now have overviews of current customer inquiries, open quotations as well as quotations without follow-ups. Therefore, they have a complete overview of the ongoing projects.
