With the WILD Group, we are pleased to welcome a new Austrian proALPHA customer. The company specializes in the development and production of optomechatronic systems in medical technology, optical measurement technology and industrial technology.
SMARTCRM replaces the previously used CRM system. We were able to easily transfer all CRM information from the old software to SMARTCRM, so there was no loss of history.
The ERP system used is proALPHA. We convinced WILD with our many years of interface expertise and the preconfigured standard connection to proALPHA. SMARTCRM imports customers, prospective customers, contacts, product groups, articles (and article groups), quotations, blanket orders as well as figures – sales, contribution margin, order backlog items and open items. Based on these figures, SMARTCRM provides employees with up-to-date BI reports at various levels.
A second interface connects SMARTCRM with proALPHA’s document management system. This enables WILD to call up documents archived in the DMS directly from SMARTCRM or to transfer files from the CRM system to proALPHA at the push of a button.
The WILD Group comprises several companies at different locations. Thanks to SMARTCRM’s multi-client capability, these are mapped as separate clients. This has the advantage that the employees there only have access to the CRM information they need for their processes. Of course, a comprehensive view of the data and figures is also possible. Here, WILD benefits from the detailed assignment of rights in the CRM solution.
Our CRM system supports sales in project management, among other things. In the future, WILD will document all projects from the inquiry to the order in the SMARTCRM project file. For optimal clarity, each process is managed on its own tab. Quotations and (blanket) orders are automatically transferred from proALPHA ERP and assigned to the project. In the CRM project file, sales staff can see at a glance the quantities called up within a blanket order at any time. Forecast evaluations as well as overviews on the start screen, for example of current projects or open quotations, complete the all-round view. As a contract manufacturer and contract developer, WILD creates products individually tailored to customer requirements, so communication with customers is very extensive. This is why it is a great advantage for the sales staff that activities always remain traceable in the CRM project file, and not just for project-related communication. An important goal of WILD’s CRM implementation was to bundle all customer communications in one system. In the future, all e-mails will be automatically imported from Outlook to SMARTCRM via Microsoft Exchange, where they will be available to all employees. Documentation of phone calls and visits supplement the activity history in customer and project files and ensure that employees are informed about agreements made, for example.
SMARTCRM will also provide sustainable support for field service activities in the future. This is because, thanks to our mobile solutions, field staff always have important CRM information with them when they are on the move, either via online access via the SMARTCRM.App or offline on their notebooks. With its offline capability, our CRM system fulfills another important requirement of WILD.
The field service can also fully rely on SMARTCRM for visit planning. For example, employees can filter all interesting addresses within the radius of the customer to be visited using a area search and have them displayed on a Bing Maps map with one click. There, the route can be planned and further addresses along the route can be searched for using a corridor search.
In a second step, the purchasing department should also work with SMARTCRM, because our CRM solution offers a wide range of SRM functionalities. Thus, suppliers as well as purchasing figures such as purchase orders and invoices can be transferred from proALPHA ERP via the interface. This ensures both an extensive classification of supplier addresses and an overview of purchasing figures and activities with suppliers in the CRM system.
