Hager & Meisinger GmbH has decided to implement our CRM solution to support their sales department. The company, headquartered in Neuss, Germany, has been manufacturing medical devices since 1888 and is represented by sales partners in over 100 countries worldwide.
Hager & Meisinger used to rely on a CRM solution. However, this could no longer cover the company’s requirements, which is why they chose to introduce a new CRM system. During the decision-making process, we impressed with our standard connection to proALPHA and our decades of interface expertise. Over the interface, SMARTCRM imports customers, products as well as figures such as turnover and incoming order positions or open items from the ERP solution. SMARTCRM evaluates the figures in detail, so that from now on, sales employees have up-to-date evaluations available centrally in the CRM system at the press of a button. In this way, employees can keep an eye on sales trends and customer order patterns at all times for instance and can react to changes at an early stage.
Optimal integration of the field force was another important requirement of the company for the CRM solution. All important customer-related information should be available to them both when working from home or when on the roads. SMARTCRM can fully meet this requirement. Indeed, on the one hand, employees can access all data via their notebooks – even offline without Internet connection. On the other hand, online access is possible per app using their smartphones. This way, SMARTCRM enables the field force a fast but extensive visit preparation with a glance into the customer file and the BI analyses.
The field force at Hager & Meisinger visits dental practices on a regular basis. In a near future,
they will also get support from the CRM when planning these visits. The definition of tours and the assignment of addresses in SMARTCRM facilitates the planning. In addition, the addresses of the selected tour can be visualized for route planning in Bing Maps. Then, the corresponding appointments are created just as easily in the SMARTCRM.Organizer. Overviews on the start screen, the SMART Board, provide a summary of all upcoming and past tours.
In the near future, employees will see all orders in SMARTCRM regardless of whether they were entered by the field or office staff. Thus, the field employees will be kept informed on the development in their sales territory.
In a second step, Hager & Meisinger is also planning the international use of our CRM solution in European subsidiaries. Multilingual text modules have been already transferred from proALPHA via the ERP interface.
